The belt-driven motor operates at two speeds of 33-1/3 and 45 RPM and features a speed sensing system to maintain accurate platter rotation speed. Fully manual operation with adjustable dynamic anti-skate control. Professional anti-skate die-cast aluminum platter and rubber mat. Equipped with AT-HS4 headshell and AT-VM95E VM stereo cartridge, using a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus. The AT-VM95E cartridge can be replaced with other VM95 styli, providing various options for different budgets and applications. Features hydraulic damping lift control and a locking mechanism on the straight carbon fiber tonearm. Utilizes a medium-density fiberboard (MDF) base with a walnut finish. Built-in switchable phono preamplifier for phono or line level output. External AC adapter processes AC/DC conversion outside the unit, thereby reducing noise in the signal chain.
The AT-LPW40WN is a fully manual belt-driven turntable that allows you to replay high-fidelity vinyl record audio. It features a medium-density fiberboard (MDF) base made with a walnut wood veneer, which not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also provides anti-vibration properties to suppress low-frequency sound wave feedback. Additionally, it is equipped with a sensor-controlled motor to ensure accurate 33-1/3 and 45 RPM platter speeds.

The turntable is equipped with a straight carbon fiber tonearm featuring adjustable tracking force, and comes with an AT-HS4 universal head shell pre-installed with an AT-VM95E dual moving magnet cartridge. The high-performance AT-VM95E cartridge from Audio-Technica is equipped with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus, but is also compatible with any replacement stylus from the VM95 series, suitable for various budgets and applications. The AT-LPW40WN includes a switchable phono preamp and comes with an RCA stereo audio cable, allowing it to connect to equipment regardless of whether it has a dedicated phono input.
