Call blocking
To protect your peace of mind and that of your loved ones, the Alcatel XL785 Combo Voice is equipped with advanced *unwanted call blocking features, with two modes:
- Manual mode, allowing you to block numbers one by one during or after a call using a dedicated key (up to 100 calls can be blocked)
- Automatic mode: only numbers stored in the phonebook will ring the phone.

More importantly, as an XL product, both the wired and DECT phones have large backlit displays (showing names and numbers) for easy reading, along with a large keypad for easy dialing. The Combo also features an LED indicator that flashes when there is an incoming call (on both the base and handset).

In terms of sound performance, in addition to high-quality hands-free functionality (adjustable to 5 levels), the XL785 Combo Voice is equipped with an audio enhancement button that increases the handset volume during calls: up to +25dB.
