Product Overview
The H6c Pro is an indoor pan-tilt camera featuring 1080p 1920×1080 resolution, a 4mm F1.6 lens, and a 90° diagonal viewing angle. It can rotate horizontally and vertically to cover the entire room. The camera measures 88×88.2×119mm and weighs 218g, uses Type-C power, and includes an RJ45 Ethernet port.
All specifications on this page have been extracted field by field from the specifications table on EZVIZ's official product page (model CS-H6c-R105-1L2WF, exactly matching our store SKU): F1.6@1/3" CMOS, 4mm with 90° diagonal/80° horizontal/43° vertical viewing angles, 1080p, H.264/H.265, up to 10m infrared range, Smart Alarm including motion detection/human shape detection/human shape tracking/noise detection/automatic patrol, microSD up to 512GB, DC 5V/1A (maximum 5W), -10°C~45°C.
Its position within the series is “wired-first”: it supports both Wi-Fi and an RJ45 Ethernet port. If you do not want to rely on wireless connectivity, you can connect an Ethernet cable directly for maximum stability. For shops or offices that require uninterrupted recording over long periods, this is more important than resolution.

Why Have an Ethernet Port
The most common issue with indoor Wi-Fi cameras is not hardware failure, but “laggy footage and connection failures.” Hong Kong homes often have severe congestion in the 2.4GHz band (routers, neighboring APs, microwave ovens, and Bluetooth devices), and 1080p streaming may drop frames when the signal is weak.
The H6c Pro provides both an RJ45 Ethernet port and Wi-Fi. If you can run a cable to the installation location, Ethernet is the most stable option; use Wi-Fi only when cabling is not possible. This combination of both options is not common among indoor cameras in the same price range.
- Ethernet Is More Stable Than Wi-Fi
- Severe Congestion in 2.4GHz Environments
- Prioritize Ethernet When Cabling Is Possible; Use Wi-Fi Only When It Is Not
Human Shape Tracking and Automatic Patrol
The official Smart Alarm features include motion detection, human shape detection, human shape tracking, noise detection, and automatic patrol. Human shape tracking means the lens rotates to follow a detected person instead of recording only from a fixed angle — making it useful for monitoring pets or elderly people moving around.
Automatic patrol scans back and forth along a preset route. Note that both patrol and tracking consume power and generate a large number of clips. Leaving them enabled for extended periods indoors can make playback cluttered, so it is recommended to enable them only when needed.
- Human Shape Tracking Follows the Target
- Supports Automatic Patrol
- Long-Term Use Can Make Playback Cluttered
10m Infrared and Indoor Reflections
The official specification lists a maximum infrared range of 10m. Indoors, infrared light can reflect off nearby white walls or glass, causing localized overexposure in the image. Avoid installing the camera directly facing white walls, mirrors, or window glass.
For smaller rooms (3-4m deep), the infrared intensity may actually be excessive. You can install the camera closer to a power source and adjust the night vision mode in the App.
- 10m Infrared Is Sufficient for Indoor Use
- Avoid Facing White Walls and Glass Directly
- In Small Rooms, Install It Closer to a Power Source
Power Supply and Power Consumption
The official specifications list DC 5V/1A, maximum power consumption of 5W, and a Type-C interface. This means it can be powered by a standard 5V 2A phone charger and a long Type-C cable — more convenient than a dedicated power adapter, with cables that are also easy to purchase.
Be aware of voltage drop with long cables: a standard USB cable longer than 3-4m may cause the voltage to drop, resulting in random restarts. A thicker charging cable or the original cable is recommended.
- DC 5V/1A, Maximum 5W
- A Standard 5V Charger Can Be Used
- Watch out for voltage drop on long cable runs
Storage & Privacy
Supports up to 512GB microSD, or EZVIZ CloudPlay cloud storage (subscription required). 1080p event recordings do not require much storage; 128GB is sufficient for several months.
Privacy settings are important for an indoor camera: the app provides Sleep/Privacy Mask modes to pause recording when family members are active at home. If the camera is placed in a bedroom or may capture private activities, we recommend setting a schedule for automatic sleep mode.
- Up to 512GB microSD
- Scheduled sleep mode supported
- A privacy schedule is recommended for bedrooms
Suitable and Unsuitable Uses
Suitable for monitoring pets, elderly family members, entryways and foyers, or a corner of a shop or office; ideal for locations where wired stability is required.
Not suitable for outdoor use (designed for indoor use; no waterproof rating stated by the official manufacturer), situations requiring 2K or higher resolution (this model is 1080p), or identifying faces more than 8 metres away.
- Suitable for monitoring pets and elderly family members
- 1080p is not suitable for identifying people at long distances
- Not for outdoor use
