The new HD 800 S

offers higher precision connection options, now featuring two connection leads, one 6.3mm connector and an XLR-4 plug cable output, providing better audio sources for amplifiers like the HDVD 800.

The S damping technology of the HD 800

maintains very high frequency audible sound by eliminating what is known as the "masking effect" through the addition of innovative absorber technology - the enhanced sound reproduction of the HD 800 S is phenomenal. This was first used in the IE 800, where the human ear struggles to hear higher volume lower frequencies occurring simultaneously with the sound frequencies. This innovative technology is a key factor in the success of the IE 800, while the sound quality of the HD 800 becomes purer and more pleasant.
These enhancements build on the classic's powerful achievements, featuring a 56mm sound transducer - the largest used in dynamic headphones. The unique ear cup design directs sound waves to the ear at a very small angle to create an impressively natural and spacious listening experience.
