Q: How should I choose between the P850 and other models in the P Series?
A: The P Series is categorized by resolution, lens viewing angle and night vision specifications. Choose according to how far and how wide you need to monitor.

Q: Do I need to purchase an NVR or PoE switch separately for the P850?
A: Not necessarily. The camera can record to a microSD card independently. For centralized recording from multiple cameras, pair it with a Reolink PoE NVR. If the number of cameras exceeds the number of NVR ports, add a PoE switch.

Q: How many cables need to be installed for the P850?
A: A single Cat5e/Cat6 network cable running directly from the NVR or PoE switch is sufficient. Power and video are transmitted through the same cable, so no separate power cable is required.

Q: Does the P850 capture clear footage at night and in backlit conditions?
A: It supports infrared or full-colour night vision. Combined with HDR/WDR, it can identify faces and licence plates in backlit and nighttime conditions.

Q: Is a monthly fee required for P850 recording?
A: No. Recordings can be saved to a microSD card or NVR, with no mandatory monthly cloud storage fee for local storage.

Q: How is the warranty for Hong Kong official stock of the P850 arranged?
A: This product is Hong Kong official stock and comes with the original manufacturer's warranty. In the event of a hardware issue, inspection and repair can be arranged through the Hong Kong distributor.
