Q&A:

The flash pulses feel hot and cause redness or pain. Is this normal?

Start using this device at Level 1.
Once you have become accustomed to this level, gradually increase it to a higher level. It is normal to feel slight warmth from the flash pulses, and this will not cause any skin problems.
This problem may be caused by leftover hair or using the flash pulses on tanned skin.
Please use this device on untanned skin, and remove excess hair with a handheld electric shaver or razor.
If redness, swelling, or pain occurs, stop using this device immediately, then cool and moisturize the skin.
If the condition does not improve, stop using this device and consult a doctor.

How many times can it be used per day?

Usage on each body area should be limited to five minutes per day*.

Immediately after the flash pulse is emitted, I can smell something burning. Is this normal?

The burning smell comes from the flash pulses heating the excess hair.
If the device itself emits a burning smell, stop using it immediately, turn it off, and unplug the AC adapter.
Do not flash the same area more than once a day. Excessive heat stimulation may cause skin problems.
* When treating the face, be sure to use the face attachment. Otherwise, burns may occur.
