🆚 Comparison of Models in the Same Series

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How should I choose between the TAMRON 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD for Sony E (A046) and other lenses in the same category?
A: This is a TAMRON 17-28mm f/2.8 lens designed primarily for ultra-wide-angle subjects (landscapes / architecture / astrophotography). The comparison table for the same series (above) lists the focal length, aperture, and positioning differences among available models from the same brand. Choose according to your main subjects.

Q: Will a wide-angle lens cause distortion?
A: Perspective distortion at the edges of ultra-wide-angle lenses is an optical characteristic. For architectural photography, you can use in-camera correction or correct it in post-production.

Q: Which camera bodies are compatible with the TAMRON 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD for Sony E (A046)? Can it be used with all Sony E camera bodies?
A: This lens uses the Sony E mount. Please confirm that your camera body has the same mount before purchasing. If you need to adapt it to another system, please check with the store regarding adapter compatibility first.

Q: What types of scenes is this lens suitable for?
A: With a 17-28mm focal length and f/2.8 aperture, it is suitable for wide scenes such as landscapes, architecture, and astrophotography.

Q: Does it have image stabilization? How stable is it for handheld shooting?
A: Please refer to the official page for the image stabilization specifications (the “Image Stabilization” column in the specifications table; items not yet verified are marked “Pending Verification”). In low-light conditions, a large-aperture lens can be used with a high ISO and shutter priority to compensate. A tripod or monopod is recommended when using a telephoto lens.

Q: Is it an authorized product or a parallel import? What warranty is included?
A: The version sold by our store and the warranty arrangements are subject to the store’s policies (parallel import / manufacturer warranty arrangements; please contact the store for details). The receipt and warranty documents will be included with the shipment.

Q: Can it be returned or exchanged? Is repair service available if it breaks?
A: Details are subject to the store’s return, exchange, and repair policies. For local after-sales support in Hong Kong, please contact the store directly.
