Projector ANSI Table

Many inexpensive projectors on the market claim 5,000 or even 10,000 lumens, but when converted to international standards, the actual brightness is usually as follows:

Rated Lumens / Source Lumens Estimated Actual ANSI Lumens Applicable Scenarios and Viewing Experience
1,000 lm Approximately 100 - 150 ANSI Must be completely dark, suitable only for blind use in a bedroom at night.
3,000 lm Approximately 300 - 500 ANSI Suitable for slightly dim rooms with curtains drawn, picture quality barely acceptable.
6,000 lm Approximately 800 - 1,000 ANSI Mainstream home projector level, excellent performance in the dark, can use a small night light.
12,000 lm Approximately 1,500 - 2,000 ANSI High-end laser TV level, can still be viewed normally during the day with light curtains drawn.
