The A068 provides a wealth of shooting options without having to change lenses. When using the 17mm wide-angle end, it can present dynamic effects that can only be achieved with an ultra-wide-angle lens. When framing at the 50mm telephoto end, it can use a perspective close to that of the human eye to capture natural scenery and street snapshots, making the photographic subject matter more diverse. In addition, since the lens has a constant F4 large aperture, it means that no matter how you change the focal length, you can maintain a consistent exposure value, so in addition to taking still photos, it is more suitable for movie shooting.
High-quality optical performance throughout the entire zoom range with excellent detail
The designer cleverly configured a large number of special lenses. The lens consists of 13 groups of 15 lenses, including 3 LD (Low Dispersion) lenses, 2 double-sided aspherical lenses and 1 GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens, which effectively suppresses chromatic aberration and various lens aberrations, and even the image at the edge of the picture is sharp and clear. Moderate shape, easy to carry, internal zoom design brings better balance
The A068 weighs only 460g and is 114.4mm long, achieving an excellent sense of balance when used with the body. In addition, the lens body adopts a fixed-length internal zoom design, which can easily achieve the best balance with video shooting equipment such as handheld gimbals, making it easier to take still photos and videos. Excellent close-up capability, giving you more creative space
The A068's minimum focusing distance is 0.19m at the wide-angle end and 0.3m at the telephoto end. The working distance at the 17mm wide-angle end is only about 5.7cm, which can reduce the problem of being unable to take close-up photos with general wide-angle lenses. Since you can get closer to the subject more freely, you can make the subject larger in the composition to produce a more attractive bokeh, and even in indoor environments where space is limited, you can easily focus quickly without having to compromise your position.

The A068 uses a VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus assembly, achieving high-speed, high-precision autofocus at the leading level in its class. This lens can be used with the in-house developed dedicated software TAMRON Lens Utility and TAMRON Lens Utility Mobile.
