AI Video Search and Object Classification

AI video search lets you enter a condition directly (such as “person”) to find the relevant clips, without fast-forwarding through an entire night’s footage. Supported categories include people, vehicles, non-motor vehicles (bicycles／trolleys), animals, and packages.

Perimeter protection provides three types of alerts: line crossing, area intrusion, and area loitering. Smart events include object removal and left-behind objects (beta). Heat Maps: Visible Operational Data

Heat maps overlay the density of personnel activity over a period of time using colours, allowing you to see at a glance “which shelf attracts the most people” and “which aisle receives the least foot traffic.” This is a highly practical tool for retail and traffic-flow planning, rather than a security feature.

Usage suggestion: Collect data for one to two weeks first, then adjust your displays and shelf positions based on the results. Note that heat maps require the camera to remain at a fixed angle; once the camera is moved, the data must be accumulated again.

Built-in 4TB and 32TB Maximum Capacity

2 SATA interfaces, with 1 x 4TB drive included by the manufacturer. Each drive supports up to 16TB, for a total of 32TB. Intelligent H.265+ saves a little more bitrate than standard H.265, allowing the same hard drive to record for longer.

4TB can record continuously 24/7 for approximately one to two weeks with 16 2K cameras; to retain footage for one month, upgrading to 8TB or more is recommended. The hard drive is the only component subject to regular wear, so it is recommended to check its health status every six months.
