180° Dual-Lens Stitching—One Camera Replaces Two
Duo 2 WiFi uses two lenses to stitch together a horizontal view of Horizontal: 180°, with an official resolution of 4608x1728 (8 Megapixels) @20fps. This design solves a practical problem: a single wide-angle lens cannot capture everything, while two cameras require two cables. With one cable and one mounting position, it can cover an entire exterior wall or a whole corridor.
The lens specifications are f=3.2mm fixed, F=2.0. The official field of view is listed as Horizontal: 180°. The two image sensors capture their respective images before stitching them together, so the centre of the image will not appear stretched like it would with a single wide-angle lens.
It is important to keep the camera body level during installation—the stitching is performed between the left and right lenses. If the camera body is tilted, the seam will appear in the centre of the image; post-installation adjustment can only straighten it, not eliminate it.
The Detail Density Delivered by Dual Lenses
With the same 8 megapixels, a single wide-angle lens must spread its pixels across 180°, causing distant details to appear less clear. Duo 2 WiFi distributes the load across two image sensors, giving each half a higher pixel density so that licence plates and faces remain identifiable even at the edges.
The official video compression format is H.265. At the same image quality, files are smaller, allowing microSD cards and NVRs to record more hours.
If you previously used a single-lens wide-angle camera and often found that you could “see someone but not identify who it was”, switching to a dual-lens camera is the most direct way to solve this problem.
Night Vision and Full-Colour Mode
Official infrared night vision: Up to 30 meters (100ft); LED: 6pcs/850nm. Full-colour night vision: With spotlights: 8pcs/5W/6500K.
Infrared footage is in black and white, making it discreet and less likely to startle passers-by. Full-colour night vision uses spotlights for illumination, preserving colour information such as clothing and vehicle colours, which is practically helpful for identification afterwards.
During installation, avoid pointing the lens directly at a white wall or metal awning. Otherwise, infrared light reflections may cause overexposure in the centre of the image while making the surroundings difficult to see. If this cannot be avoided, tilting the camera down by 10 to 15 degrees will usually provide a noticeable improvement.
Smart Detection and Notifications
Duo 2 WiFi Smart Detection: Motion detection/Person Detection/Vehicle Detection/Animal Detection.
Detection is completed on the camera, and notifications are pushed only when the target category is identified. This filters out false alarms caused by traditional motion detection, such as rain, tree shadows and changes in lighting.
Notifications can be toggled individually. If you want to receive person detection notifications but do not want to be woken by cats or dogs at night, simply turn off animal detection notifications; recording will continue as usual.
WiFi Connectivity and Installation Flexibility
Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11 ac/ax/a/b/g/n; Supported bands: 2.4GHz/5GHz.
The advantage of dual-band connectivity is that 5GHz has less interference and provides smoother live streaming, while 2.4GHz offers better wall penetration and longer range. If the installation point is far from the router, 2.4GHz is more stable; 5GHz can be selected within the same space.
The limitation of a wireless camera is its power supply: this model uses DC 12.0V⎓2A, so the installation location still needs access to power. If there is no power available at all, choose a battery or PoE model instead.
Storage, Playback and Backup
Storage method: Supports max. 512GB microSD card.
The microSD option does not require a monthly fee and is suitable for single-camera setups. Pairing it with a Reolink NVR allows centralised recording from multiple cameras.
A surveillance-grade microSD card is recommended (durable under continuous writing and resistant to high and low temperatures). Ordinary mobile phone cards are prone to failure after several months of continuous writing, and failed cards usually give no warning.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the 180° achieved?
It uses two lenses to capture images separately and then stitches them together, with an official field of view of Horizontal: 180°. The advantage is that the pixels are not spread too thin, and the seam remains stable.
Does it need a network cable?
A network cable is required. Although this model is a WiFi model, it still requires DC 12.0V⎓2A power, and a power adapter is included.
How far can the night vision reach?
Official infrared night vision: Up to 30 meters (100ft); LED: 6pcs/850nm. Actual performance is affected by the ambient light at the installation site; in complete darkness, the image will be in black and white.
Is a monthly fee required for recording?
This model primarily uses local storage (Supports max. 512GB microSD card), so no monthly fee is required. The retention period depends on the storage capacity, resolution, and recording mode.
Does it support two-way talk?
Yes. The official audio specification is “Built-in microphone and speaker”.
What installation locations is this suitable for?
With an official field of view of Horizontal: 180°, it is suitable for covering an entire exterior wall, corridor, or parking entrance. Measure the distance and height before installation.
Is it Hong Kong official stock? How long is the warranty?
It is Hong Kong official stock and comes with a local warranty certificate, with a 2-year warranty. Non-Hong Kong official stock is covered only by the seller's own warranty, and repairs must be shipped back to the country of origin.
Overseas parallel imports are slightly cheaper—is it worth buying?
Not recommended. Overseas versions may differ in voltage, plugs, App regional services, and warranty coverage. We only guarantee Hong Kong official stock; shipments from overseas warehouses (Australia, the UK, Germany, Singapore, Canada, the United States, Malaysia, France, and Dubai) are not covered by the warranty.
Want to confirm whether this model suits your installation environment?
Send us photos of the installation location or a floor plan, and we will recommend the number of cameras, power supply method, and cable length based on the site conditions.
