Product Overview
The H9c Dual combines a fixed wide-angle lens with a rotatable telephoto lens: the lower 2.8mm fixed lens always covers the entire area, while the upper 6mm lens can pan 350° horizontally and tilt 80° vertically. Both views are available simultaneously, so you do not need to choose between them.
All specifications on this page were extracted field by field from the official EZVIZ H9c Dual 3K product page: CS-H9c-R100-8G55WKFL, 1/2.7" Progressive Scan CMOS, fixed lens 2.8mm F1.6 (132° diagonal/110° horizontal/58° vertical), PT lens 6mm F1.6, PT 350°/80°, up to 2880×1620, 15fps, H.265/H.264, 30m/98ft IR, microSD up to 512GB, RJ45 × 1, DC 12V/1.5A, up to 12W, 145×116×142mm/668g.
A note on the name: the official page lists it as “H9c Dual 3K”, while our store title says “5MP” — 2880×1620 is 5MP, so they refer to the same thing. This page follows the official specifications exactly.

H9c Dual Camera Body (Official Image)
Dual-Lens: Fixed Wide-Angle + Rotatable Telephoto
The common drawback of a single-lens PT camera is that “once it turns away, you can no longer see the original area.” The H9c Dual’s fixed lens keeps the entire area in view, while the PT lens can turn to a designated position for a closer look — both record simultaneously, so nothing is missed.
Practical setup: use the fixed 2.8mm lens (132° diagonal) to cover the entire car park or shop floor; use the 6mm PT lens to focus on entrances, checkout counters, or gates. When needed, tap once to follow the target, then return to the original position afterwards.
- Both lenses output simultaneously, with no panning delay
- Fixed lens covers the entire area; PT lens zooms in for a closer view
- One camera replaces two single-lens cameras
Actual Magnification of 3K (2880×1620) and the 6mm Telephoto Lens
The official specifications list a maximum resolution of 2880×1620, shared by both lenses. Compared with the fixed 2.8mm lens (132° diagonal), the 6mm PT lens has approximately one-third of the viewing angle, equivalent to roughly 2–3× magnification.
This combination resolves the conflict between “ultra-wide-angle views that cannot clearly capture faces” and “telephoto views that cannot cover the entire area.” Note that the image is not continuous while the PT lens is moving, so long recordings may contain gaps or jumps.
- Native 3K at 2880×1620
- Approximately 2–3× magnification with the 6mm lens
- Image is not continuous while the PT lens is moving
Auto Tracking and Preset Locations
The official specifications state that Auto Tracking and Preset Locations are supported. Auto Tracking allows the PT lens to follow people, while Preset Locations let you return to frequently used angles with one tap, such as “Gate”, “Checkout Counter”, or “Back Door”.
How to use them together: keep the camera at a preset location under normal conditions; when a person is detected, Auto Tracking starts automatically, and the camera returns to the preset location after a few seconds. This is much more practical than manual control alone.
- Supports Auto Tracking
- Supports one-tap return to preset locations
- Suitable for locations with fixed traffic routes
RJ45 Wired + Wi-Fi Dual Connectivity
The official specifications provide both RJ45 × 1 (10M/100M) and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz. Streaming from both lenses simultaneously requires substantial bandwidth, so a wired connection is noticeably more stable.
If you can run a cable to the installation point, using an Ethernet cable is strongly recommended. If cabling is not possible, use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, but be aware of interference on the same frequency, such as from microwave ovens, neighbouring routers, and Bluetooth devices.
- Supports RJ45 Wired Connection
- Wi-Fi Supports 2.4GHz Only
- For the dual-camera setup, a wired connection is recommended as the priority
30 m infrared range and IP rating
The official specifications state infrared (black-and-white night vision) up to 30 m/98ft, suitable for outdoor use. In practice, facial recognition is possible at approximately 10–15 m, depending on the installation angle and reflective surfaces.
The official IP Grade specification only states “Weatherproof Design” and does not provide a specific IP number — this page reports it as stated without upgrading the official claim. Installation under an eave or other covering is recommended.
- 30 m infrared range
- No specific IP number officially stated
- An eave or other covering is recommended
Power and in-the-box contents
The official specifications state DC 12V/1.5A, with a maximum power consumption of 12W. The official in-box contents explicitly include Power Adapter ×1, which differs from some models and is worth noting. A drill template, screw pack, waterproofing kit, regulatory information ×2, and quick start guide are also included.
Supports microSD cards up to 512GB; can also be used with an EZVIZ NVR for centralized recording. Dual-camera recordings require more storage, so a 256GB or larger surveillance-grade card is recommended.
- DC 12V/1.5A, up to 12W
- Power adapter included in the box
- A 256GB or larger card is recommended for the dual-camera setup
