Ricoh GR IIIx Camera - Japanese Version - Parallel Import

RICOH will launch the GR IIIx professional-grade compact digital camera in October 2021. This camera has an APS-C format CMOS image sensor with 24 million effective pixels. It breaks through the 28mm wide-angle lens of the GR camera series. The newly designed 5-group 7-element high-refractive-index low-dispersion GR lens and the innovative 40mm standard lens with a 57° viewing angle (equivalent to the focal length of a 35mm camera) are suitable for some photography enthusiasts to capture street shots from different angles. The newly developed GR ENGINE 6 high-speed engine is easily compatible with 14-bit RAW image format shooting, ISO from 100-102400 high sensitivity, 3-inch LCD touch screen, approximately 1.037 million pixels, can directly control various camera shooting functions, equipped with such powerful functions, the startup time is only about 0.8 seconds.

The Ricoh GR IIIx digital camera provides RAW image format, which allows users to easily edit the image ratio (16:9 or 4:3) in post-production, adjust the size, color tone, white balance and more than a dozen image editing functions. There is no need to purchase expensive computer software for post-production editing. Of course, the camera also provides Bluetooth and wireless network functions, which can be easily paired with mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, so that images can be directly transmitted to family or friends at the first time.

The newly designed GR lens with high refractive index and low dispersion aspherical surfaces in 5 groups and 7 elements places two aspherical optical glasses in the best position to minimize distortion and chromatic aberration, while effectively reducing glare and ghosting when shooting against the light. The lens group is also equipped with an ND filter that can reduce the aperture by two levels, and it is easier to obtain natural bokeh (soft focus effect), high-resolution images and real high contrast at the maximum aperture of F2.8.

The GR IIIx digital camera uses an original AA (anti-aliasing) simulator to prevent the aliasing that often occurs on high-resolution image sensors. Its unique feature is that the camera's electronic image stabilization function uses slight vibration adjustment to reduce moiré and unrealistic colors. You can also pre-select [High] or [Low] according to the density of the texture in the captured image.

The GR IIIx's dual AF system uses a high-contrast contrast AF system and phase rangefinder AF. This AF system can also accurately detect the position of the subject. When the camera detects multiple faces, it will automatically distinguish between the primary and secondary subjects. The photographer can also simply change the designated subject on the LCD touch screen.

Shake Reduction(SR)

The GR IIIx's 3-axis anti-shake function can reach up to 4 levels, which includes 3 different types of vibration: pitch, yaw and roll, which can reduce camera shake to obtain clear images even when taking pictures in a split second.

The glass on the front of the Ricoh GR IIIx CMOS contains a special piezoelectric material. When the camera is turned on and off, the body automatically emits ultrasonic vibrations to prevent dust from adhering to the surface of the image sensor, ensuring clear images.
