180° Dual-Lens Stitching — One Camera Does the Work of Two
The Duo 3V PoE uses two lenses to stitch together a Horizontal: 180° view. Its official resolution is 7680x2160 (16MP) @ 20FPS. This solves the practical problem of a single wide-angle camera failing to cover the entire area, while two separate cameras require two cables: with one cable and one mounting position, you can cover an entire exterior wall or corridor.
The lens specifications are f=2.8mm/F1.6. The officially stated field of view is Horizontal: 180°. The two image sensors capture their respective images and stitch them together, so the center of the image does not appear stretched like it does with a single wide-angle lens.
During installation, it is important to keep the camera body level — the image is stitched from left and right lenses, so if the camera body is tilted, the seam will appear in the center of the image. Post-installation adjustments can only straighten it, not eliminate it.
Higher Detail Density with Dual Lenses
Even at the same 8MP resolution, a single wide-angle lens has to spread its pixels across 180°, which can make distant objects look soft. The Duo 3V PoE distributes the workload across two image sensors, giving each half a higher pixel density so license plates and faces remain identifiable even at the edges.
The official video compression formats are Main stream: H.265 Substream: H.264. At the same image quality, files are smaller, allowing microSD cards and NVRs to record more hours of footage.
If you previously used a single-lens wide-angle camera and often found that you could “see someone but not identify who it was,” switching to a dual-lens camera is the most direct way to solve this problem.
Night Vision and Full-Color Mode
Official infrared night vision: 30 meters (LED: 6pcs/20mil/850nm) (Auto-switching with IR-cut filter). Full-color night vision: With Spotlight: 6pcs/1.6W/4500K/540-840 Lumens.
Infrared footage is in black and white, making it discreet and less likely to disturb passers-by. Full-color night vision uses spotlights for illumination, preserving color information such as clothing and vehicle colors, which is genuinely useful for identification after an incident.
During installation, avoid pointing the lenses directly at white walls or metal awnings. Otherwise, reflected infrared light may cause overexposure in the center of the image, while the surroundings become difficult to see. Where this cannot be avoided, tilting the camera downward by 10 to 15 degrees will usually provide a noticeable improvement.
Smart Detection and Notifications
Duo 3V PoE smart detection: Motion detection; person detection; vehicle detection; animal detection.
Detection is performed on the camera itself, and notifications are pushed only when the specified target types are detected. This filters out false alarms caused by rain, tree shadows and changing light — common issues with traditional motion detection.
Notifications can be enabled or disabled individually. If you want to receive person detection alerts but do not want to be woken up by cats or dogs at night, simply disable animal detection notifications while continuing to keep recording enabled.
PoE Power and Network Connection
Power supply: IEEE 802.3af, 48V, active. A single network cable provides both power and video transmission, so no power socket is needed at the camera location. This is the cleanest solution for locations such as exterior walls, ceilings and village-house rooftops where there is a network point but no power outlet.
Network interface: 3. The power source can be a PoE-compatible Reolink NVR or a standalone PoE Switch.
The practical advantage of a wired connection is stable bandwidth: wireless cameras may experience frame drops and delays when multiple people are watching live video simultaneously or when there is heavy interference from nearby Wi-Fi networks, whereas PoE does not.
Storage, Playback and Backup
Storage method: Supports Max. 512GB microSD card.
A microSD setup is suitable for scenarios where only a few days of footage need to be retained, primarily with a single camera. An NVR setup is better for multiple cameras, footage retention of several weeks, or reviewing footage from multiple angles at once.
A surveillance-grade microSD card is recommended. Standard consumer cards can easily fail after several months of continuous writing, and failed cards usually give no warning.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the 180° field of view achieved?
Two lenses capture images independently and then stitch them together, providing an official Horizontal: 180° field of view. The advantage is that the pixels are not spread too thinly, and the seam remains seamless.
Can it use Wi-Fi?
No. This model is a wired PoE model that requires a network cable for power and data transmission. If it is not possible to run a cable to the installation point, choose a WiFi or 4G model instead.
How far is the night vision range?
Official infrared night vision: 30 meters (LED: 6pcs/20mil/850nm) (Auto-switching with IR-cut filter). Actual performance is affected by ambient lighting. In complete darkness, the image will be in black and white.
Is there a monthly fee for recording?
This model primarily uses local storage (Supports Max. 512GB microSD card), so no monthly fee is required. The retention period depends on the storage capacity, resolution, and recording mode.
Does it support two-way audio?
Yes. The official audio specification is “Built-in microphone and speaker”.
What type of installation location is this suitable for?
With an official Horizontal: 180° field of view, it is suitable for covering an entire exterior wall, corridor, or parking entrance. Measure the distance and height before installation.
Is this Hong Kong official stock? How long is the warranty?
Yes, this is Hong Kong official stock and comes with a local warranty certificate. The warranty period is 2 years. Non-Hong Kong official stock is covered only by the seller's own warranty, and repairs must be sent back to the country of origin.
Overseas parallel imports are slightly cheaper. Are they worth buying?
Not recommended. Overseas versions may differ in voltage, plugs, regional App services, and warranty coverage. We only guarantee Hong Kong official stock. Products shipped from overseas warehouses (Australia, the UK, Germany, Singapore, Canada, the United States, Malaysia, France, and Dubai) are not covered by the warranty.
Want to confirm whether this model is suitable for your installation environment?
Send us a photo or floor plan of the installation location, and we will recommend the number of cameras, power supply method, and cable length based on the site conditions.
