Maintenance

• Silk should be hand-washed gently in water around 30 degrees Celsius. Avoid water that is too hot or too cold, as this can damage the silk fabric.
• Silk is susceptible to alkali, so it should be gently rubbed with a mild acidic or neutral detergent.
• Silk fabrics of the same color can be washed together, but if the colors are different, they must be washed separately, as silk fabrics are prone to fading and the stains are difficult to remove.
• Silk fabrics should not be dried under sunlight or fluorescent lights after washing, and should never be dried in a dryer. Generally, they should be hung to dry in a cool, ventilated place. Ultraviolet rays can easily cause silk fabrics to yellow, fade, and age.
• Silk wrinkles easily. Do not wring it when washing. Gently shake it out and lay it flat to dry, turning it inside out. Do not overlap or fold it to dry, as this may cause color bleeding.
• Silk fabrics are highly absorbent, so please do not place them in damp places or in direct sunlight to avoid mildew and fading.
• After washing, silk can be simply ironed with steam at a low temperature.
